Buttlerian Spiritologie

For a few years 2008-2013 Spiritologie was a subject, ownership of which was claimed by Andreas Buttler who licensed its use until december 2013, when he publicly disavowed it.

Multi Genius Technologies, was a group from the Netherlands which promoted the subject - unknown outside of Germany -  in 2008 to an international audience of mostly ex-scientologists.

Buttlerian Spiritologie was defined in a book with the title Spiritologie: The doctrine of the origin, the infinite potential and the full rehabilitation of the spiritual being, published in 2008.

Andreas Buttler claimed to have been L. Ron Hubbard in a past life. He was a knowledgeable scientologist and played the role of the mad genius well.

Buttlerian Spiritologie was leaning heavily on Scientology but did have some brilliant ideas and applications, such as using imagination processing and a new way of incorporating the infinity concept.

The doctrine of the origin of the spiritual being was Buttler's invention and was controversial even among Spiritologists. Many people just used the very practical processing technique and skipped some of the theoretical considerations.

The main proponents and promotors of the subject in recent years dropped the Andreas Buttler Spiritologie connection in December 2013 and reverted to their earlier Multi Genius Technologies concept.

They re-constituted themselves under a new name as Multi Genius Technology for Consciousness.

Spiritologie Symbology

Spiritologie was defined by its founder Andreas Buttler as: ‘The study of the origin, infinite potential and the complete rehabilitation of the spiritual being.’

The image below was the main symbol used in Buttlerian Spiritologie. The following may well be the first full description and analysis of its actual meaning.

Buttlerian Spiritologie Symbol
Buttlerian Spiritologie Symbol

The wreath is closed, full circle, which means it is a complete and closed system.

This also becomes clear once on examines the philosophical foundation of Spiritologie:

All – and by that I mean as a matter of fact precisely that, namely all – what you perceive and experience is exactly that, which you out of yourself, through your own causal thinking create, and indeed exactly … now!

By that principle–it being a self-referential statement–Spiritologie is philosophically a solipsistic idealism. (nothing exists really but one’s own self-created universe)

The five pointed star, a common symbolic for the human body as well as the spirit being the senior entity. It is placed in the center which symbolizes the first impulse from where the spiritual awareness takes off to broaden outwards to infinity although still within the enclosure.

Birds are symbols of thought, or imagination, and of the swiftness of spirit. The two gulls are free to fly in two directions but inside the system.

Conspicuous are the two infinity symbols placed at right angles in the inverted cross position. The inverted cross is an antithesis to the Latin Christian cross and denotes sometimes Satanic, but usually anti-authoritarian, anti-christian attitudes.

The two infinity symbols show a horizontal lemniscate (infinity symbol) broken in the middle by another crossing lemniscate.

Development

The first development of Andreas Buttler concerned the use of the infinity viewpoint as a universal solvent. That is to say that even when using infinity that way, there would be a necessary and co-incident crossing by another infinity and all that in a blue field which signifies truth and carries the hope of freedom.

When the infinity viewpoint was rehabilitated (horizontal) through the so called Infinity Rundown there was still another infinity (vertical) to be mastered in the pan-determination rundown and all that within the system.

Similarity

It is arguable that Andreas Buttler, who believed he had been L.Ron Hubbard in a former life, chose his Spiritologie symbol to serve as a reminder to former members, that he was creating a new version of the Scientology Organizaton.

Escape from Solipsism

To escape the inevitable solipsism of the basic Spiritologie Doctrine it could be reworded it as:

All – and by that I mean as a matter of fact precisely that, namely all – what WE ALL perceive and experience is exactly that, which WE ALL out of OURSELVES, through OUR COLLECTIVE causal thinking create, and indeed exactly … now!

This way we get rid of the excessive SUBJECTIVITY and allow for OBJECTIVE creation, still originating from the mind or rather minds.

The Spiritologie Schism

When Andreas Buttler told me in November 2013 that he no longer believed in Spiritologie etc. I listened carefully and acknowledged his ideas politely as any good auditor realizing the man is somewhat disturbed by having to give up his creation and admit he had been wrong.
My colleagues Claudia and Magdalena were in Austria at the time. I told them over the phone that Andreas had given up. After they arrived in Biere, Claudia suggested to Andreas to go in session and handle his reading charge. We offered sessions which he did not accept.
There were some discussions and it was decided from both sides that Andreas would return to Erwitte where he had lived before. We offered to temporarily rent a place for him and gave him some money so he could leave and physically get well again, given the fact he was ill.
An interesting synchronicity happened, which did steer later events in a certain direction. Luigi Kwas happened to phone in just the day when Andreas – who was upset after an argument - was leaving and didn’t want to talk to Luigi. Luigi interpreted this in his way and thought that we were withholding something as we in his perception were not willing to connect him through to Andreas.
We tried in vain to convince him otherwise. I must mention at this point that Luigi had been critical of our positions already for a longer period, but not always expressed.
Some time after Andreas left Luigi contacted him over Skype and Andreas reportedly stated that there was nothing wrong but that Caspar was upset with him due to interference of Claudia. This started the rumour that Claudia and Caspar were the one’s that had created a breach in the group by not accepting Andreas’ new insights.
I had written some private notes criticizing the Spiritologie book and shared these with Luigi, who in violation of our agreement passed these to Andreas. This led to an upset and as a result Andreas disconnected from us.
It was subsequently revealed that Luigi - who had obtained a high grade in Spiritologie and was therefore a trusted public representative - according to his later statement had never believed in the basic Spiritologie principle. Thus it was no surprise to him when Andreas recanted and gave up his core Spiritologie belief:
“All – and by that I mean as a matter of fact precisely that, namely all – what you perceive and experience is exactly that, which you out of yourself, through your own causal thinking create, and indeed exactly … now!”
Luigi had over the years been extremely critical of Andreas’ Scientology connection and believed and stated that the above principle only applied to the mind.
When Caspar and Claudia called a special briefing in early January 2014 to reveal what happened and announce the demise of Spiritologie as seen from the viewpoint of the founder, they were met with unexpected accusations.
Luigi apparently had already privately and prematurely briefed (third party) several of the group and thus some present at that meeting would accuse Caspar of been emotional and prejudiced against Andreas, which was far from the mark.
Luigi covertly kept telling other members of the group that there was nothing wrong and that we were the ones making trouble, not Andreas.
Eventually this dis-information spread in the group culminating in a schism where several of the Spiritologie group became disaffected with us.
Nothing we said or did could clear this up as we were not aware of Luigi’s counter-actions until much later.
It is remarkable that Andreas and Luigi went straight from pure spirituality to blatant denial of the celebrated mind over matter credo, which is the essence of the major spiritual traditions.
The Buddha for example declares in the opening lines of The Dhammapada, that "All phenomena are preceded by mind, made by mind, and ruled by mind".
Or Mary Baker Eddy in Christian Science stated: “All is mind”
Or Wolfgang Pauli, who knew:“Matter is derived from mind, not mind from matter.”
Or Sir Arthur Eddington who said: “Physics is the study of the structure of consciousness. The "stuff" of the world is mindstuff.”
Or Baba Muktananda:“You are the entire universe. You are in all, and all is in you. Sun, moon, and stars revolve within you."

Buttler's Spiritologie Tragicomedy

NB: The renunciation of the basic axiom of Spiritologie by Andreas Buttler also had a tragicomical aspect which was pointed out later in a blog article under the title Buttler's Paradox.
The basic axiom (core statement) of Spiritologie was:
"Everything - and I mean really just that, namely everything - what you perceive and experience is exactly what you, in and of himself, by your own Causal thinking created; precisely ... now!
In the chapter on "God defined" Buttler wrote:
"... tracing back innumerable situations, circumstances, conditions, “coincidences”, difficulties or “strokes of fate” to before their first appearance, even to a point before the causation! Every examination established that in the beginning there was the thought! Before these causal thoughts difficulties or situations of this type did not exist! Only after the causal thought did they appear in the existence of people. I really looked very hard for any exceptions, since I wanted to be quite certain about this point of whether any different factors could have been the cause of things, before I went public with this statement. This looked for exception was not found in a single case! In the beginning there was always the thought, the concept or the idea about what is, will be or could be!”
In his retraction Buttler said:
"...in the last two years I experienced different things, which contradicted the foundations as shown in the above statements; which meant that I did after all find exceptions to these basic statements."
"If somebody applied the techniques of Spiritologie for the full one hundred percent according to the doctrine it was me of course and yet in my life circumstances occurred (relating to health and also other areas of life) which could not and “should” not have occurred..."
"I was also  absolutely sure to not have put up considerations or thought patterns that could have made these circumstances arise."
Buttler forgot to take into account that he had been concerned and thinking about damage to his body a few years earlier in February 2009. At that time he publicly ordered Spiritologists to be checked for "...things they might have done or not done that could have resulted in the destruction of Andreas Buttler's body?".
This again would prove that he had been right after all, in saying “Every examination established that in the beginning there was the thought!”.
Spiritologists friends pointed this out to him, to no avail. He said:
"It should be clear that I, as author of the book and the rundowns of course know all these possibilities and had taken all these possible causes into account." (Buttler was of course the author of the book Spiritologie, but it was all based on the work of L. Ron Hubbard and the same goes for the Spiritologie rundowns.)
His friends – Claudia Moser and Caspar de Rijk - didn’t buy his ‘100% perfect’ application, in particular after he told them he had set up for session, got a Fall (charge reading) on: “I don’t believe it anymore” and then left it without taking it up which would have been the standard Spiritologie procedure.

Public Announcement - End of Buttlerian Spiritologie

Dear Spiritologists, dear friends,
I have been occupied in the last few months with a subject, which is of  fundamental significance and importance for everyone involved in Spiritologie.
Anyone who knows me a little knows that I never lied concerning Spiritologie, sessions or rundowns lied. All my statements on this subject were true in accordance with my personal observation and perception.
This must continue, even though this is immensely difficult for me at this time. Even I would prefer to close my eyes for my observations and let everything continue as before. However, since this would completely violate my own integrity, I decided, to publish the following statement.
Anyone who has been extensively involved with Spiritologie knows the foundations, on which it is built. These fundamentals define why we do sessions why we look for considerations and why we want to gradually improve and perfect our thinking.
The most important foundation pillar can be found in the chapter "The Spiritual Being":
"Everything - and I mean really just that, namely everything - what you perceive and experience is exactly what you, in and of himself, by your own Causal thinking created; precisely ... now!
Based on this core statement, we can now also clearly express the final objective of Spiritologie – and I assure you, it is a worthwhile one: A spiritual being that has regained full control over its causative thinking and so possesses an infinite freedom and self-determination over how it sets up its own world, its personal universe, which is to say its actual home and can decide what it will experience within it. "
In the chapter on "God defined" there are statements about the most elementary knowledge which could be confirmed in sessions repeatedly and was described as follows:
"... tracing back innumerable situations, circumstances, conditions, “coincidences”, difficulties or “strokes of fate” to before their first appearance, even to a point before the causation!
What was worrying me was the fact that in the last two years I experienced different things, which contradicted the foundations as shown in the above statements; which meant that I did after all find exceptions to these basic statements.
If somebody applied the techniques of Spiritologie for the full one hundred percent according to the doctrine it was me of course and yet in my life circumstances occurred (relating to health and also other areas of life) which could not and “should” not have occurred; not with the awareness levels reached, verified Rundown-E/Ps etc. I was also  absolutely sure to not have put up considerations or thought patterns that could have made these circumstances arise.
And that was also exactly what came out of the sessions that I did once more review these things.
There was no consideration-loophole such as "Sometimes one may also experience the opposite”, “Even with absolute certainty something may go wrong sometimes" nor some other form of vague possibility, as it is described in the book.
And no, it was not a consideration of the type "An unwanted circumstance in life may occur despite the fact that there was no counter-consideration " or "Circumstances may arise that should not have arisen" etc., etc.
It has almost a bit tragic-comical, but some close friends, with whom I first talked about this did actually point out possible considerations of this kind to me! Of course I know that they just wanted to help, but it should be clear that I, as author of the book and the rundowns of course know all these possibilities and had taken all these possible causes into account.
When one has complete control over considerations and thought patterns, with the appropriate cognitions, awareness levels and rundown completions, and yet circumstances occur in life that completely contradict one’s own creation – and if is even confirmed by a review in sessions that one’s own creation was completely free of charge and there were no  considerations that could have had any connection with the experienced circumstances, the only choice left is to question the basic theory on which the Spiritologie is built!
That's what I did and as I said, I have never lied when it comes to Spiritologie, I meant in particular that I will never begin to do that either.
Since I can no longer with a clear conscience - from current view and state of knowledge -represent the basic statements of the book as "demonstrably and without exception" true, I renounce my declarations in support of the fundamentals described in my book Spiritologie" and in various lectures!
I can imagine very well that it is a big shock for all Spiritologists to hear such a thing from me, but I can assure you that it was for me no less a smack in the face  when I became aware of the implications of this observation.
There is no doubt that considerations and thinking in general have enormous impact on life. However Spiritologie is not based on the idea of thinking having "some influence", but it is based on that thinking is directly causing! It is based on that reality is created by considerations and patterns of thought, not on the idea that one can influence reality to some degree.
I also do not invalidate the fact that Spiritologie sessions have brought about many fantastic gains and great cognitions and are still capable of doing so, however Spiritologie was about the state of complete cause by controlling one's own thinking, not just a partial cause!
If considerations and thought patterns are not superior to time, space, matter and energy, when there are exceptions for accidents, difficulties or situations meaning when there had not been any relevant causal thought in the beginning, then it is plain and simple that the fundamentals I formulated for Spiritologie are not true, regardless of the fact that certain successes and cognitions can be obtained.
No one should basically climb a tower built by me, that is based on a rickety, shaky foundation and it is therefore that I have decided no longer to disseminate Spiritologie or to designate it as a technology for the rehabilitation of  a complete cause position concerning all areas of life, as I do not wish anyone to arrive one day to the point where I currently got to.  A point at which one must conclude that what one had believed to be true, practiced and lived with full conviction for a lifetime is different after all.
I am well aware that I bear the full responsibility for the consequences, caused by this announcement, but I prefer to have to confront, perhaps from one or the other even to be hated than that I would, from now on try to keep up appearances to shut my mouth and thus become a liar and a cheat, since I myself am no longer in agreement with the basic theory of Spiritologie.
Truth was always particularly dear to me and that's why I have decided to inform all those who have put their trust in me and integrated Spiritologie into their lives of this extremely unpleasant truth.
I very much hope that I can be forgiven. I can understand very well, if it not should be so.
with love.
Andreas Buttler
